This time next week...

I would have finished work and I can't tell you how excited I am about that. I'm in desperate need to some time off work, and hopefully next year when I go back I'll be refreshed and get back into the swing. But for the moment I'm counting down every day/every our hour and can't wait until I walk out of the door on Tuesday night.

I'm excited about getting married, the wedding and honeymoon as well of course but I last day of work comes 1st so I'm going to look forward to that at the moment.

Exhausted

I'm completely exhausted at the moment, things are been so busy I feel like I'm constantly running from on place to the next, and my wedding to do list isn't getting much shorter because I'm too busy with everything else to do anything. I need some time off to catch up on my sleep and I'm going to have to slow down a little. Unfortunately can't do that this week, I'm booked up every night this week and I think we only have one night of the long weekend free.

I'm booked up and exhausted but this week I have to get some more stuff done for the wedding, tonight we have a dress fitting for the girls, check and make sure the calicos are right so we can make the real thing.

Tomorrow we have a dance lesson, really excited C and I have really enjoyed the classes we've done, such a good way to get away from everything and send some time together, letting him lead (always funny), learning something new together, so much fun I recommend it to everyone not just people getting married, everyone definatly worth the money. Unfortunately in the last month or 2 we haven't been able to make it to any of the because I'm always working to late - going to be really good to get back to it and its a good opportunity to stretch out my shoes. I hope we are able to keep it up after the wedding.

This weekend I did manage to get a few things knocked off my list,
Visas - Mine Done still need to do Craigs
Soft drink, brunch - done
Lollies, capacity of vases, what we want, how much we need, prices - done still waiting to find a few other prices so we can order but almost done.
Kids ceremony activity books - done
Ceremony place cards - done
Readings for the ceremony - done, really glad we got this one done C and I both agree now to pick people to read, very hard.

So if my blogging is a little slow it probably means I stuck under a pile of work on my way to dinner somewhere after which I'll race home and do 1000 chores (home and wedding). FUN!

Make pretty picture

Contrary to populate belief designers don't sit around drawing pretty pictures all day, but I have to say, it would be cool if I did. and I'd have a desk with lots of colourful pens, pencils, and lots of pretty paper. but I don't think school kid pays every well, but working hours rule.

the impossible dream

I dream the impossible dream - a creative job working my own hours with no overtime and the best clients that will take a risk or 2 to standout and create something unique, all while earning me enough money to travel and create a home for C and I.

Don't get me wrong I'm happy just to have a job at the moment, I know a lot of other people aren't so lucky, but I could really do with a break from working so hard.

My friendly neighbour

I thought I'd introduce my new friendly neighbour. He doesn't have a name or talk much but he is a very calming influence on the studio.

He is the biggest Goldfish to ever live, and he's not very good at staying still for photos.

Moving to the other end

So to top off my incredibly busy week at work they decided to move our studio space to the other end of the building. Not sure if I like the space or not yet, I have a really big empty open space behind me in the middle of an open plan studio space and I keep getting the feeling someone is standing behind me. 

However we have great window now that we didn't have before - we where in a box in the middle of the building walled off from everyone else, I think it was too hide the naughty/loud people from the clients.
