Every 5 years...

I think we should have another wedding, renew your vows or something. That way I could have a go at all the good ideas. I love short wedding dresses, I'm not sure I have the legs for one this short myself  I'd probably go for something more tea length - which I did look at when I was shopping. So stylish.

I want this veil so cute

Day dreaming

Work has been hectic this week, so I haven't done much in the way of wedding but I have been thinking a lot about the Honeymoon. Very exciting, 5 weekd holiday, I haven't had that long off work since I started work.

We weren't 100% sure where our Nowra accommodation was and we had only seen it on the net, so on the weekend we stopped in to check it out. Amazing, going to be the perfect way to start our honeymoon.

Love this

I love this look. I have some old draws I might try it on.

Love it Love it

Love this, great great, great colour, great accessories.

This is the colour I want for my BM. The bracelet is an interesting idea as well, formal but casual, I could do something like this for the wedding. Would give me that relaxed, formal, playful, not overly planed up together took, might be a bit more me than what I have been looking at.

Fun

We meet with a photographer on Saturday and he asked us "if we had to describe your wedding in one word what would it be" The answer FUN.

Broke-Ass Brides
wedding seems like a really fun wedding and the photos are beautiful.

Found at www.thebrokeassbride.com see more at chennergy.com

I love this photo too

see more from one love photo

But I have to say while I love all the soft light washed out photos I really do love the bright cheerful coloured photos. I love Tec Petaja Photos, the colour is great - we really want some photos with the colours like this.

Love these, check out more on tecpetajaphoto.blogspot.com

My photographer is going to have a tough job, I want everything.

More on cakes

C and I went down to Nowra with our parents for the weekend on a planning mission. It all went really well, I'm happy and we achieved a lot.

When I 1st started the planning process I got our reception place to quote us on a cake. When I 1st got the quote I thought it was crazy expensive but after some research and looking around I found it was actually a pretty good price, and I really didn't want to cook it myself. Yesterday we did a tasting and the cake was good....

But my 5 cake idea will work out cheaper and I think look really good. We found a cake shop in Nowra that we are happy with and are the right price. Considering the cake isn't a high pirority for us finding a cheaper alternative is important. Just need to find out the cost of cakage is, if its too expensive maybe we'll go without a cake.

Confessions

I confess I love Carla Zampatti cloths, so beautiful girly, edgy, and from the most amazing material. LOVE IT.

Check out more at www.carlazampatti.com.au

I tried on a few dresses as possible wedding dresses, great for the budget unfortunately one didn't quite work for my body shape, the other I would have lost some of my favourite design features (because I'm really short) and I was worried about not having enough support up top and I felt I needed it.

Sometime I still think about that dress and wish I'd worked out a way to make it work. Don't get me wrong I love my dress - it makes me look tall and thin, its simple, a little sexy, moderen and it fits really well. The Carla Zampatti however was modern, edgy, fun, less traditional, and a little bit whimsical not to mention cheaper.
